The TRADITIONAL NATION model has failed by removing the COMMON GOOD from its political and economic agenda.
Now with the Blockchain we can subvert the obsolete idea of inherited nationhood and build our own digital States. Through DAOs, tokens, Metaverse and Web3 the necessary building blocks of a nation are reproduced:

DAO stands for Decentralised Autonomous Organisation. It is a type of digital organization whose members have shares for governance and in which internal management is an open, transparent and fluid process. The shares of DAOs are usually articulated through social tokens (social tokens in English) based on Ethereum's ERC-20 standard. They also support NFTs as an admission and governance tool.
In this form of organization there is a grouping by common values and work to achieve shared objectives. To this end, governance processes are generated and initiatives are implemented that activate the achievement of common objectives thanks to the common treasury. Within this ecosystem, a redistributive economy is generated in which the economy of creators is also favored.
According to Gitcoin's book "Greenpilled. How crypto can regenerate the world" an ImpactDAO is a DAO that creates net positive externalities for the surrounding ecosystem. ImpactDAOs are the atomic building block of the Regenerative Cryptoeconomy movement.
Non-fungible tokens (NFT) are a type of token that differ from the rest by lacking the property of fungibility due to their uniqueness, so they cannot be divided or exchanged. The ERC-721 type is unique while the ERC-1155 can have a series of the same token indistinctly.
Solarpunk is a speculative science fiction paradigm within the "punk" movements (that means, challenging the establishment), which offers a utopian alternative, from an aesthetic perspective, in which there is a harmonious interplay between human beings, nature and technology. The Solarpunk movement has developed a whole environmental philosophy based on initiatives, approaches and solutions concerning the government form, the manufacturing system, the social structure, lifestyles and urbanism, among others.
Having some critical challenges for mankind survival, positive philosophy and pragmatic way of thinking is required. Crystallised from science fiction, the focus of this genre and art movement are namely climate change, pollution and its righting with sustainable and regenerative actions on the ecosystem with the help of technology. Overall, is an attitude to contest the current situation which is bringing the planet to exhaustion bringing a final alternative.
We consider Solarpunk a great framework for the development of a society based on regeneration, oriented towards an eco-social justice reality, fostering holistic wellbeing that connects the individual with the community and planetary.

Blockchain technology is the best ally to create a new social and economic environment in which we the people, as a community, can regain our independence to shape the society we want to live in, placing people and the planet at its core.
Using tools such as DAOs, tokens, the Metaverse and Web3 provides the opportunity to build initiatives and communities that are organized around common goals, removing geographic distances) and enabling the creation of a critical mass. This allows for decentralized governance models (as well as political learning) and favors economic equality; meaning, it provides resources for action that, for the first time, imply empowerment and the potential for real political impact. This new scenario gives birth to alternative and transforming approaches with a solid power capable of using "forces against forces" and " creating a system that renders the previous one obsolete".
We believe in the Regenerative Paradigm as a framework for economic, political and social models capable of not only curbing the negative impact of the current toxic socio-economic system (which focuses only on economic growth), but also of solving problems while creating positive value simultaneously.
Regeneration is a fundamental piece in the development of a Solarpunk reality. Therefore, the purpose of W3ST is to implement actions of positive social and environmental impact in real life, taking as a reference the ideology and solutions proposed from the Solarpunk reflection. And for this we are going to activate 3 main LINES OF ACTION:
We know that the Blockchain has a huge environmental challenge ahead but at the same time it offers a scenario of new governance and redistributed economic resources that represent a new possibility of advocacy and redefinition of the traditional political and economic model that we want to leave behind and that is, with its extractivist logics, the real threat to the planet and people. There may be some impacts in the early stages but the blockchain community has a strong transformative character and is moving to minimize these impacts.
It is our direct commitment to pivot towards lower carbon footprint networks. As we do so, we measure our footprint and offset it. As we have done with our NFT Genesis.
Our WIKI is active with the basic organizational setup that we will be iterating and expanding as the DAO progresses through collaborative work.
Soon, we will activate the DAO's PULSE where we will announce the activities and projects status that will be taking place within the community.

A W3ST node is a place (physical or digital, static or itinerant, permanent or temporary) to experiment with Solarpunk ideas and practically activate regenerative values of social, economic and environmental prosperity. A sanctuary in which to demonstrate that other ways of living are possible and where community members (citizens) can co-create and enjoy.
The nodes are the practical anchorage of a new vision of understanding the configuration of nations. They represent the physical and symbolic territory of W3ST in which to transfer the sovereign collective force created in the digital to materialize projects of value by creating networks of action and learning.
We will use funds from the common treasury of W3ST. From all Misphit income (primary and secondary sales) 20% will be allocated to the DAO multisig wallet. This 20% will be divided among the different DAO guilds (areas or working groups), being the largest portion for the NODES guild, from which we will finance the activation of the nodes.
For the creation of the nodes we will need more funds apart from those coming from the Misphits and that we will obtain through different ways like: Misphits merch, new NFTs collection, or even grants and eventual donations.
